01 — Context
Where this started.
A student’s academic life is scattered across a notes group, a results portal, a placement noticeboard and three WhatsApp forwards. Edunova set out to hold all of it in one place — and, more ambitiously, to make the students themselves the source of the material.
02 — Challenge
The hard part.
Content platforms for students fail on supply, not demand. Nobody uploads notes for free, so the library stays empty and the app dies in its first semester. The product had to solve contribution before it solved consumption.
03 — Strategy
What we decided.
We designed a coin economy into the core of the product rather than bolting on gamification. Uploading material earns coins; premium content costs them; daily activity tops them up. Contribution became the cheapest way to get what you needed, which is what keeps the library growing after launch.

04 — Experience
How it works for the person using it.
Material is organised by course and semester — the way students actually think about it — and opens in a built-in PDF reader so nothing bounces out to a file manager. Results sit alongside a credit calculator and backlog report, so a student sees a position rather than a number. Downloads work offline, because campus Wi-Fi is not a given. Light and dark themes both ship.
05 — Engineering
How it is built.
Authentication and encrypted storage run on Firebase. Razorpay handles the paid tier. Smart caching keeps repeat opens fast and reduces the data cost of a shared connection. The interface is built on Material Design 3 so the app inherits platform conventions instead of fighting them.

06 — Feature stories
The decisions that mattered.
-
Course-and-semester library
Notes are filed the way a syllabus is structured, with an in-app PDF viewer and offline downloads so material is available in a lecture hall with no signal.
-
Contribution economy
Students earn coins by uploading material and spend them on premium content. Supply is generated by the same people who consume it — the mechanism that keeps the library alive past launch.
-
Results with context
Semester results, a credit calculator, backlog reporting and class-wise overview, so a result is presented as a trajectory rather than an isolated mark.
-
Careers feed
Job and internship listings with full descriptions, remote filtering and in-app application — placed next to the study material rather than in a separate service.

Only verifiable figures appear here. We do not publish uplift percentages or revenue claims we cannot evidence, and we do not restate a client's internal numbers as our own.
08 — Ownership
What was handed over.
At launch, everything below transferred to Edunova. Nothing in this product depends on DevXAI to keep running.
- Full Git repository with commit history
- Infrastructure and store accounts in the client’s own name
- Architecture and deployment documentation
- Walkthrough session with the client’s team
- 30-day post-launch defect warranty
Client testimonial
Our vision for the Edunova educational app was brought to life perfectly. The interactive platform they developed has completely transformed how our students engage and learn. The attention to detail and understanding of our requirements was exceptional.
